Stumptown Lunch News: The Bite of Oregon

Who else is super excited for the Bite of Oregon? It runs from August 8 to 10, and this year seems jam-packed with cool stuff–not to mention all the food!

The Lunch Lady is going on both Friday and Saturday (follow our live Twitter coverage), then not planning to eat at all on Sunday! We are psyched to see the Crazy 8’s are playing on Friday night. We heard from the band’s trombone player, Tim Tubb, who is really excited to take the stage for what will surely be a rowdy-fun performance.

On Saturday Cat Cora from Iron Chef America will be a guest for Iron Chef Oregon and later that night the MarchFourth Marching Band performs!

I guess I shouldn’t forget about the main attraction: All the food!

I am already looking forward to a Kobe beef slider from Rogue Ales Public House, the bay shrimp and scallop ceviche from Hayden’s Lakefront Grill and the Oregon steak and cheese sandwich from the Chef’s de Cuisine Society of Oregon.

Warning: Don’t read the Bite’s menu if you are hungry! It all sounds so tasty.

The Bite’s added bonus this year: An all-Oregon beer garden!
